About Us

Officially launched on May 26, 2010, the station was created to connect the campus with the world—sharing university life, student perspectives, and IIUM’s values with the public and alumni across the globe.

The station provides a diverse range of educational and entertainment content, including student programming, exclusive interviews, news updates, public service announcements, curated playlists, and talk shows. IIUM.FM uses various languages to produce its content, with 70% English, 20% Malay, and 10% Arabic as mediums of communication.

IIUM.FM is a hybrid radio and podcast platform designed for both local and international students of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). With over 100 nationalities on campus, IIUM stands as a beacon of multicultural Islamic values and global knowledge. IIUM.FM aims to capture this unique spirit by providing engaging, student-centered, and Islamic-oriented content accessible through live radio and on-demand podcasts.

By integrating broadcasting with digital platforms, IIUM.FM will strengthen IIUM’s role as a leader in Islamic media innovation, enrich campus life, and extend its influence to the global Muslim community.
