IIUM.FM, the official online campus radio of International Islamic University Malaysia, hosted its annual dinner in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur to honour outstanding contributions in student broadcasting. The event brought together students, alumni, and collaborators, and was officiated by Prof Dr Shukran Abd Rahman and Assoc Prof Dr Tengku Siti Aisha Tengku Azzman, alongside IIUM.FM advisor Zarita Kasim.
In his opening remarks, Prof Shukran highlighted the station’s role in nurturing student voices, critical thinking, and ethical media practices. The evening featured the presentation of IIUM.FM Awards across categories such as Best Radio Programme, Best Podcast Show, Best Radio Announcer, Best Podcast Host, and Best Ground Event of the Year.
A special highlight was the premiere of IIUM.FM’s official theme song, Your Campus Radio, composed entirely using AI-generated tools—marking a creative milestone in the station’s evolution.
